My client is a leading successful Swiss Engineering Consultancy operating globally within the fields of energy and environmental technology. Service offerings include Hydropower plants, Dams/Reservoirs, Foundations, Electrical and Mechanical equipment, Hydraulic structures, Construction and Statics.
Due to continued growth they are seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to join their successful team. Specific Job Details;
· Design of penstocks and steel hydraulic system components for monitoring the execution of hydroelectric.
· Projects up to commissioning.
· Elaboration of specifications.
· Conduct expert (Corrosion and condition assessment)
Requirements;
· A Degree in construction or machinery engineering.
· 5+ years experience in steel construction, hydraulic engineering is an advantage.
· Experience in the interpretation of pressure pipelines.
· Interest in geotechnical contexts and to inter-disciplinary project work.
· Flexibility and high power handling.
· Bilingual German / French and good knowledge of English. |
