Offshore Equipment International Sales Manager

Our client is one of the world leaders in the design and construction of offshore jack up rigs.
Having built the most number of jack ups on order in the last decade, the China Based Company continues to enhance its lead by offering proprietary technology and engineering expertise. Their suite of proprietary jackup rig designs for various water depths, locations and environmental conditions guarantees a rig design for every driller’s needs. Most notable is the world Class design which the client has constructed and delivered more than 20 of such units since the design was launched in 1950 as global leader in marine and offshore engineering, they offer integrated expertise and turnkey solutions in ship repair, shipbuilding, ship conversion and offshore, rig building, and offshore engineering & construction.
With one of the largest facilities in the region, their global network of yards are strategically located near major shipping lanes in the major hubs of China and Brazil.
Operating as distinct brand names, these shipyards focus on their areas of expertise and market niches to provide customers with the most innovative marine and offshore engineering services worldwide.
 
Because of this continuing growth and success, they are currently looking for:
 
INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER

Responsibilities will include supervising the global sales and marketing of drilling equipment and jack ups, preparing cost estimates, conducting optimization/risk analysis reviews, implementing and supporting drill equipment reviews, updating detailed implementation plans, reviewing and approving PI&Ds and all other marine/drilling equipment drawings, the selection of methods and procedures for optimization of the sales and marketing of equipment and ensure safe, continuous and cost effective operations of shallow water.
To be considered for this role you need to have strong leadership experience, 5-20 years minimum experience of offshore oil drilling equipment sales experience and strong business development. You also need to have extensive experience of working for multinational organisations and demonstrated the capability to build up good working relationships with people from all cultures and be sophisticated in interacting with peers and executives.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
 
Good knowledge and very familiar with the offshore construction market, specially on offshore drilling rig market, close contact with international drilling contractors and oil & gas operators;
Good knowledge and experience in offshore construction industries including shipbuilding, semi & jack-up rig construction, FPSO and other marine construction vessel new building, etc.
Fluent English speaking and professional experience and expertise on
Offshore marketing, commercial and contractual operation;
Being able to communicate with colleagues with Mandarin would be a bonus but not essential.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Develop or, where already in place, set up Global Sales and Market of Jack Up, FPSO, FDPSO, Semi-Submersible, Drillship. strategy, update detailed implementation sales and Market of Jack Up, Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervising drilling equipment Global Sales and Market of Jack Up, FPSO, FDPSO, Semi-Submersible, Drillship operations offshore, land and inland waters in the Louisiana and Texas region. Preparing cost estimates, AFE's and well plans. Conducting optimization / risk analysis reviews, and implementing and supporting drilling equipment Sales and Market of Jack Up, FPSO, FDPSO, Semi-Submersible, Drillship.
Together with respective project Managers develop or, where already in place, update detailed implementation plans, complete with targets, milestones and KPIs. Oversee development of PI&Ds for all marine and drilling equipment systems. Review, comment, and approve PI&Ds and all other drawings associated with marine and drilling equipment systems Sales and Market of Jack Up, FPSO, FDPSO, Semi-Submersible, Drillship.
Responsible for selection of methods and procedures for optimization of the Sales and Market of Jack Up, FPSO, FDPSO, Semi-Submersible, Drillship and materials within the scope of the project specifications. Close cooperation and coordination with the Global Sales and Market of Jack Up, FPSO, FDPSO, Semi-Submersible, Drillship and other disciplines including project Sales and Market of Jack Up, FPSO, FDPSO, Semi-Submersible, Drillship management team.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
1. LeadershipHigh Effectiveness of manner and approach of providing direction, implementing plans, and motivating people, Extensive working experience in JV or WFOE. Experience in the mechanical field in matrix multinational organizations and demonstrated the capability to build up good working relationship with peoples from different cultures ;Very sophisticated in interacting with his subordinates, peers and executives in Global and Regional Headquarters; Results focused - demonstrated ability to reach goals, accountability for results;
2. 5-20 year’s international offshore oil drilling equipment sales experience
Customer Service: Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal communication with the ability to professionally and effectively resolve issues with vendors.
Business Development: international Sales and Market of Jack Up, FPSO, FDPSO, Semi-Submersible, Drillship. and national Sales and Market of Jack Up, FPSO, FDPSO, Semi-Submersible, Drillship. experience; and a successful track record in managing supplier partnerships and achieving cost reductions. Present with confidence, communicate more effectively and enhance personal impact Presentation skills, public speaking seminars & workshops
3. Soft Skills:   Extensive working experience in matrix multinational organizations and demonstrated the capability to build up good working relationship with peoples from different cultures; Very sophisticated in interacting with his subordinates, peers and executives in Global and Regional Headquarters; Results focused - demonstrated ability to reach goals, accountability for results;
4 English Fluent, /Mandarin-Chinese Preferred
 
DETAILS :
 
Full time permanent position.
70% Travel
